DICKINSON, ND- The Blue Hawk Booster Club held their annual Rendezvous on Saturday, April 2nd at the Elks Club in Dickinson to raise money for athletic scholarships. The main attraction for the event is the 50 gun raffle with 500 tickets being sold for a 1-10 opportunity to win a gun.
This event consisted on a social hour which was sponsored by Braun Distributing, a meal that was served by Blue Hawk Football players and a live auction which was led by Auctioneer and former Blue Hawk Football player Travis Olson.
Ty Orton was the Master of Ceremonies for the event and raffle tickets were sold by Dickinson State University Volleyball and Women's Basketball players.
The total amount of money raised for athletic scholarships from the event was $73,000.00.
"We had an awesome turnout tonight and everyone was having a great time," said Blue Hawk Booster Club President, Howard Sharpe. "This is such an important event for us to continue to aid our student-athletes here at DSU and ensure we are doing everything possible to continue to grow our athletic department."
