The Blue Hawks continued to put points up on the board in the second quarter Gibson connected with Jaret Lee, Dylan Skabo, and then Seth Moerkerke for touchdowns in the quarter. Nick Miller also ran one in to tack on more points for the Blue Hawks. The defense again stood strong, shutting out the Comets in the quarter. Dillon Reiner took an interception 40-yards for a touchdown. The teams headed into the halftime intermission 56-0.

Heading into the second half, Coach Pete Stanton was able to rest his first-string players, keeping them healthy for the next weeks playoff game. The reserves took the opportunity in the conference matchup to continue building the lead for the Blue Hawks. Kooper Ray found Nick Kottre for another Blue Hawk touchdown. Derek Tabor found his way into the end zone, putting the Blue Hawks at 70. In their last possession, the Comets were able to get a passing touchdown to get on the scoreboard for the first time.
