• Dickinson State (N.D.) travels to Bellevue (Neb.) in a battle for the North Star Athletic Conference regular-season title in this week's NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Game of the Week on Friday at 6:30 p.m. CST.
• The Bruins look to get revenge on the Blue Hawks, as Dickinson State won, 82-69, earlier this season.
• The North Star Athletic Conference regular-season title is still up for grabs as Dickinson State leads the conference with a 10-2 mark, while Bellevue (7-3) sits in second-place, 2.0 games back.
• Bellevue's nine-game winning streak was snapped by Presentation (S.D.) on Jan. 27 in an 80-69 loss. The streak consisted of signature wins over then-No. 2 Saint Francis (Ind.) and then-No. 20 Midland (Neb.).
• Dickinson State is on an eight-game winning streak with an average victory margin of 22.8 points.
• Since the last matchup between the Blue Hawks and the Bruins on Dec. 9, Dickinson State has made a 10-3 mark. Bellevue boasts a 9-1 record, including two wins against Top 25 teams.
• Dickinson State looks to grab the blocking advantage as the Blue Hawks rank No. 5 in the NAIA in total blocks (116) and No. 6 in blocks per game (4.6). The Blue Hawks defense is led by Gilberto Shojgreen Jr., who is ranked No. 12 in the NAIA in total blocks (44) and No. 13 in block per game (1.9).
• The Blue Hawks leading scorer and rebounder this season is Marcus White, who averages 16.28 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game.
• Bellevue has proven to be successful in defending the three as the Bruins are ranked No. 2 in the NAIA in 3-point field goal defense (.302). The Bruins offense is powered by BJ Shelton, who is ranked No. 12 in the NAIA in field goal percentage (62.8).
• BJ Shelton leads the Bruins with 15.1 points per game and Jaffery Stillman leads Bellevue in rebounds with 7.2 rebounds per game. 
• The 2016-17 season marks the second year for the NAIA Network Division II Men's Basketball Game of the Week, presented by Stretch Internet. • Rochester (Mich.) leads the NAIA with 25 wins, followed by Cornerstone at 22 and Bethel (Ind.) and Union (Ky.) tied at 21.
• There are no undefeated teams remaining.
• There is currently one school searching for its first win of the season.
• Senior guard Warren Hall of Warner (Fla.) leads the nation in scoring at 30.7 points per game.
• Joel Johnson of Corban (Ore.) holds the highest field goal percentage in the NAIA at 70.8 percent (138-195).
• Asbury (Ky.) is leading the NAIA in team scoring, averaging 102.2 points per game. 
• Ohio Christian scored an NAIA season-high 149 points against USCAA Wright Stat-Lake (Ohio) on Jan. 10.
• Rochester leads the NAIA in scoring defense, as the Warriors are allowing only 61.9 points per game.  Following the Warriors is Cornerstone allowing 66.6 points per game. 
• Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) leads the NAIA is assists per game with an average of 20.5 assists per game, followed closely by Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) at 20.4.
• Mikon Hewitt of St. Thomas (Fla.) is averaging 2.7 steals per game, which is tops in the NAIA.
• Indiana Wesleyan's Lane Mahurin and Cornerstone's (Mich.) Kyle Steigenga surpassed 2,000 career points last week. Mahurin on Tuesday, Jan. 24, in an 87-78 victory over Goshen (Ind.), and Steigenga on Jan. 28, in a 67-64 victory over Madonna (Mich.).
