Brian Neal Inks with Blue Hawk Men's Basketball

DICKINSON, ND- Dickinson State men's basketball Coach Justin Wetzel has announced the signing of guard Brian Neal to an NAIA Letter of Intent.

Neal, a 6-foot-2 combo guard played two seasons at Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington where he left as the all-time leading scorer in Rangers basketball history. This past season Neal played at Montana Western.

"We are very excited to have Brian in the program, he is a dynamic player who can score the basketball in many different ways" –Wetzel

At Olympic Neal was  First Team all-league performer in the NWAC his sophomore season, and the third-leading scorer in the league, Neal averaged 24 points, four assists, four rebounds and two steals per game.

Brian is a Mount Tahoma High School graduate and is a native of Tacoma, Washington. While at Mount Tahoma, Neal was named First Team all-city, First Team All-Narrows League and averaged 17 points, five assists and four rebounds per game in his senior campaign.
