DICKINSON- Hunter Myran, a Dickinson native, made it official by signing with the Blue Hawk golf team. Myran has racked up accomplishments on and off the course for Dickinson High School.
Myran shot a final round 83, which led his team, in the Class A State Tournament in the spring. Myran continued his solid play into the summer, he shot a 75 at Riverside Golf Course in Bismarck to qualify for the Optimist Junior Golf International Tournament in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Head golf coach Thadd O'Donnell looks forward to Myran's contribution to the team, "Hunter is hard working young man that loves golf. That is a great combination for developing success. We think he will has great potential as a collegiate golfer. He has only began golfing in high school and we see him developing quickly. We are excited to have him in our program."
Myran is also excited about becoming a part of the Blue Hawk community and noted, "I like how it's a hometown school, the environment of the campus is pretty special."
The DHS honor roll student is planning on studying History Education at DSU. Hunter is the son of Trent and Lisa Myran.
