2015-16 NSAA Women’s Basketball All-Conference Selections & Postseason Awards

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce the 2015-16 Women's Basketball All-Conference selections and postseason awards, which was announced after the conclusion of the women's basketball championship game where Jamestown (N.D.) won at the buzzer by the score of 65-63 over Dickinson State (N.D.) Sunday afternoon.

Megan Klein earned 1st Team All-Conference after averaging 12.9 points per game and 12.3 rebounds per game in conference play. 

Lorna Shepherd earned 2nd Team All-Conference after averaging 10.8 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game and 2.7 assists per game in conference play.

Janniqua Thomas earned NSAA Newcomer of the Year after averaging 16.3 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game and 1.6 assists per game in conference play.

Jamestown (N.D.) earned the North Star Athletic Association Women's Basketball regular-season outright title with a 12-0 conference record.  Greg Ulland of Jamestown was voted as NSAA Coach-of-the-Year.

Jessica Buck of Jamestown was selected as the NSAA Women's Basketball Most Valuable Player-of-the-Year.  UJ's Bryn Woodside was awarded as Defensive Player-of-the-Year.  Janniqua Thomas of Dickinson State was named the Newcomer Player-of-the-Year award.

The following athletes were selected by the conference coaches as All-Conference First and Second Teams.
