Blue Hawk Women's T&F host Last Chance Track Meet

DICKINSON, ND- The Dickinson State University Women's Track & Field team hosted their Last Chance Track Meet last Friday.

Lexee Craig finished 1st in the pole vault with a distance of 2.90 meters while Jade Derby finished 2nd with a distance of 2.75 meters.

Whittney Leuenberger finished 2nd in the hammer throw with a distance of 42.42 meters, 1st in the shot put with a toss of 12.50 meters and 1st in the discus with a throw of 39.77 meters.

Shelby Gustafson won the high jump with a height of 1.60 meters while Megan Dailey finished 2nd with a jump of 1.55 meters. Gustafson also finished 2nd in the triple jump with a distance of 10.83 meters while Dailey finished 3rd with a jump of 10.80 meters.

Paitton Herbst finished 1st in the Javelin with a distance of 37.00 meters.

Paola Silvestre won the 1500 meter run with a time of 5:33.25.

Abby Honeyman finished 1st in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.83 while Danna Hanks finished 2nd with a time of 16.39.

Lorna Shepherd finished 1st in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.96 while Shelbi McGee finished 2nd with a time of 1:02.57.

Herbst also won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:17.60 while Jacey Wilson finished 4th with a time of 2:23.94.

Honeyman won the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.01 and Hanks finished 4th with a time of 28.45.

Jade Sheffield finished 1st in the 3000 meter run with a time of 11:48.50.

Dickinson State will compete in the NSAA Outdoor Championships this Thursday and Friday in Jamestown, ND.
