DICKINSON, ND- Jennifer Hartman has formally been named Dickinson State's Head Volleyball Coach after coaching the 2015 season for the Blue Hawks as the Interim Head Coach.
Hartman led the Blue Hawks to a 6-26 overall record and a 7th place finish in the NSAA with a record of 3-8 in 2015.
Coach Hartman helped produce an All-NSAA 2nd Team performer in Setter, Danielle Boyette in 2015 as well as an NAIA Scholar Athlete in Magdalyn Rauser.
"Jenn did a great job of jumping in and leading our program right before the season started," said DSU Athletic Director Tim Daniel. "She has already done a great job of recruiting for next year and we are excited to see what the 2016 season will be like under her guidance."
Hartman graduated from Dickinson State with a degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Coaching. She spent the last 3 years working full-time as a 2nd grade teacher in Dickinson, which allowed her the opportunity to stay involved with coaching at both the collegiate and high school levels.
After her playing career, Hartman immediately joined the coaching ranks as she took over as the Interim Head Coach of Dickinson State Volleyball for the Fall of 2012 season. Hartman was able to win her 1st playoff game and qualify for the Frontier Conference Tournament.
