Blue Hawks Soar Past Warriors in Three Sets

DICKINSON, ND- The Dickinson State University Volleyball team defeated the Waldorf University Warriors Saturday night in a NSAA match-up.

Dickinson State won the first three sets 25-19, 25-20 and 25-19 leading to their second NSAA victory.

The Blue Hawks finished the match with 42 kills, 38 assists, 50 digs and six team blocks while the Warriors finished with 38 kills, 32 assists, 46 digs and four team blocks.

Danielle Boyette led the Blue Hawks with 15 kills and also recorded 15 assists. Keera Stookey finished with 20 assists and Shaylee Singleton recorded 20 digs in the Blue Hawk victory.

Kaitlyn Monck led the Warriors with nine kills, Valerie Rivera finished with 19 assists and Briley Sullivan recorded 17 digs in the loss.

The Warriors are now 10-12 overall and 0-3 NSAA.

The Blue Hawks are now 4-10 overall and 2-1 NSAA.

Dickinson State continues their home stretch on Tuesday when they host South Dakota Mines in a non-conference match at 7:00 PM (MDT) in Scott Gym.
