Copp Qualifies for NAIA National Championship

KANAS CITY, Mo. -- The field is set for the 2014 NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships, as 37 teams and 84 individuals will compete for the national title, including Dickinson State freshman Austyn Copp.

Copp will join three other competitors from the Frontier/North Star Unaffiliated Grouping in Lawrence, Kan. on November 22.

Copp was the top NSAA runner for the women at the Frontier/North Star Conference Meet on Friday (Nov. 7).  She ran a time of 19:22.74, which gave her a pace of 6:15 per mile.  Her performance also earned her the final NSAA Female Runner of the Week Award for the 2014 season.
