MINNEAPOLIS, MN- The Dickinson State University Women's Cross Country team ran in the University of Minnesota Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday.
The Blue Hawks finished without a team score due to only having four runners compete.
"Only four girls raced today so no team score today," said DSU Head CC Coach Ben Shroyer. "We were missing Cristina who was out with illness and Lisa is returning from an injury. They should both be back for us on Oct. 7 at Jamestown. 392 total runners in the womens race that had 40 total teams, 10 of which were NAIA schools. Two highlights of the day for the women was Wolff led our womens team today and made a 1:52 improvement from her race at Griak in 2015. Wolff is showing solid improvement and form so far this part of the season. Also all four of our girls today had better times than our top 3 girls times from Griak in 2015. Course was a muddy mess due to much rainfall this week. Tough to get good footing and stay in a rhythm. Course is 100% rolling hills."
