Dale Little Soldier Arena

Opened in 2026, Dale Little Soldier Arena is the home of Dickinson State rodeo and serves as a premier year-round training and competition facility for the Blue Hawks. Located on DSU's west campus adjacent to the Agriculture Building, the state-of-the-art indoor arena features seating for 800 spectators, an 80-by-115-foot warm-up arena, livestock support areas, locker rooms, a weight room, a two-story lobby with concessions, and premium hospitality space. The facility also supports agricultural education, community events, and regional rodeos, further strengthening Dickinson State's commitment to western heritage and student success. The arena is named in honor of DSU alumnus and rodeo supporter Dale Little Soldier and his wife, Susie, recognizing their transformational commitment to the university and its rodeo program.

Dale Little Soldier Arena is available for private riding time rentals and weekend event rentals. The DSU Rodeo Team is excited to start open riding times and event clinics in the coming months. Those times and events will be published on Dickinson State social media outlets as they become closer.
