Dickinson State University

Volunteer Assistant Jesse Hellinger graduated from Dickinson State University in the Spring of 2015, with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. Jesse comes to the program with experience from coaching at Dickinson State University (men’s program), Hastings College, and Doane University. Coach Hellinger enters his 7^th season as a collegiate coach. He is originally from Winters, California where he completed for Winters High School securing a 3^rd place finish at the CA State Championships (2009). Hellinger then wrestled from Sacramento City College where he won the CCCAA State Championships (2011). Hellinger then transferred to DSU and wrestled for the Blue Hawks from 2011- 2014. During his time as a Blue Hawk Hellinger won an NAIA National Championship (2014) and became an NAIA National Runner-Up (2013). 

Hellinger lives & works in Dickinson, North Dakota and is currently a Parole & Probation Officer for the ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Hellinger enjoys training in jiu jitsu, hiking, and spending time with his wife and children in his leisure time.
