Sagan Osborne has served as Sports and Marketing Information Director at Dickinson State since the fall of 2022. In his role, Osborne leads athletics marketing, communications and brand strategy for Blue Hawk Athletics, overseeing the department's external communications and efforts to strengthen visibility, storytelling and fan engagement.
Osborne directs the athletics communications operation, including media relations, statistical reporting, game recaps, historical records, championship submissions and maintenance of the Dickinson State Athletics website. He also oversees the department's social media strategy and content production while providing direction for athletics photography, videography and graphic design.
In addition to his communications responsibilities, Osborne oversees gameday operations, coordinating staffing, media services, promotions and in-venue presentation. He works closely with coaches, administrators and campus partners on marketing initiatives, fundraising efforts, community engagement and recruiting support.
Osborne is an active member of College Sports Communicators and NAIA-SIDA. He serves on the NAIA-SIDA National Branding Committee and the NAIA national voting committee for Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week.
A Dickinson State alumnus and former Blue Hawk baseball player, Osborne earned all-conference honors in each of his two seasons with the program and was twice selected as team MVP. His senior season included first-team all-conference honors at third base.
Osborne earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise science with a concentration in sport management and a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in athletic educational leadership from Dickinson State.
He resides in Dickinson with his wife, Steph, and their two children, Corbin and Addison.
