Madison, S.D. – Despite getting 24 points from Katherine Fox, Dickinson State fell, 83-75 in an overtime heartbreaker to College of the Ozarks on Saturday. The Blue Hawks led by as many as 10 points in the fourth quarter but couldn't hold on for the win.

Kayden Steele added 14 points and 6 rebounds, while Teagan Townsend and Kyrie Alldredge each chipped in 11 in the loss.

After a tight first half that saw Ozarks lead by two, 38-36, heading into the break, the Blue Hawks used a huge third quarter to take the lead. Ozarks expanded their lead to 42-36 a minute into the third quarter, but DSU responded by outscoring the Bobcats 24-11 the rest of the way to lead by 7 heading into the final ten minutes.

In the fourth quarter, DSU held onto their lead until 2:47 remained in the game when the Bobcats took a 66-65 lead. The deficit for the Blue Hawks grew to five with 1:33 left, but consecutive three pointers from Fox gave DSU the lead, 71-70 with 17 seconds to go. A foul on the ensuing Bobcats possession gave Ozarks a chance to take the lead, but they connected on only one forcing the overtime period.

In the extra frame, the Bobcats finished the game on a 12-2 run to seal the victory.
