Billings, Mont. – Teagan Townsend had a perfect shooting night, going 4-4 from the field, including 3-3 from long range, and 2-2 from the free throw line for a team-high 13 points, but Dickinson State couldn't keep up with #12 Rocky Mountain as they fell, 81-53, on Saturday.
The game started close, with DSU holding a tight 9-8 lead four minutes into the game, but a 9-3 run by RMC gave the hosts a 17-12 advantage after the first ten minutes.
In the second quarter, RMC took control of the game, outscoring the Blue Hawks 22-6 to take a commanding lead in the contest and they never looked back.
Samantha Oase scored 9 points and puled down 8 rebounds, while Katherine Fox had 9 points and Kyrie Alldredge chipped in 8.
