D3 TUNEUP: The Blue Hawks will head on the road to take on NCAA Division III Wisconsin-Stout for their last non-conference tune-up … the Blue Hawks are coming off a convincing 41-18 home win against Mayville State in their NSAA opener … Krew Mathern, Braden Zuroff, and Chase Miller swept the NSAA Player of the Week awards for their efforts against the Comets on Saturday … this will be the first time the Blue Hawks have faced off against an NCAA DIII opponent since 2019 when they defeated Wisconsin-La Crosse, 23-17, in Dickinson

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS: Wisconsin-Stout is 1-0 on the season after defeating Saint Ambrose, 35-7, in week one … the Blue Devils were picked to finish sixth in the eight-team WIAC after going 3-4 in conference last season … UWS did most of their damage through the air in week one, throwing for 281 yards and four touchdowns compared to just 81 yards and one touchdown on the ground
