Dickinson, N.D. — Dickinson State competed in a pair of duals at the Beaver Bash Duals in Minot, N.D., delivering commanding performances against Minot State and Jamestown.
Dickinson State faced Jamestown in the first dual of the day and demonstrated their dominance, earning a 40-8 victory. The Blue Hawks capitalized on forfeits in the first four weight classes to take an early 20-0 lead. Adekoye continued her impressive form with a 10-0 technical fall at 131 pounds, while Savanna Rickter and Hayla Hoffman added falls at 180 and 207 pounds, respectively. Jamestown managed victories at 138 and 160 pounds, but the Blue Hawks' depth proved too much to overcome.
Dickinson State is now 3-1 in duals on the season.
In their dual against Minot State, Dickinson State dominated, securing a 38-10 victory. The Blue Hawks started strong with a series of forfeits at 103, 110, and 117 pounds, adding 15 quick points. Mikayla Jardine and Jumoke Adekoye extended the lead with technical falls, with Adekoye achieving a 10-0 win in just 53 seconds at 131 pounds. Jessica Gubler and Areli Solis secured back-to-back pins at 138 and 145 pounds, respectively. Lena-Mae Nelson followed with another pin at 160 pounds to put the match out of reach. Despite setbacks at 180 and 207 pounds, where Minot State's Nina Sandoval and Madilyn Schuck claimed victories, the Blue Hawks finished the dual with a commanding win.
