Blue Hawks end stellar season with loss to #3 Central Methodist

Fayette, Mo. – Dickinson State had their season come to a close with a 7-0 loss against #3 Central Methodist in the loser's bracket final of the NAIA Opening Round in Fayette, Missouri. The Blue Hawks end their season with a 26-24 overall record.

CMU proved to be too much for Dickinson State for the second straight day, using a second-inning grand slam to take control of the game early and adding insurance runs in the third and sixth innings.

The Blue Hawks were held to just one hit in the loss, a fifth inning single by Kara Conway, and were unable to score any runs against strong CMU pitching despite working three walks.
