SEASON CONTINUES:
(RV) Dickinson State looks to rebound as it opens Frontier East Division play on the road at Mayville State. The Blue Hawks (2-2) dropped their second straight game in a 41–21 setback at No. 9 Montana Western, despite running 84 plays and holding a 38:16–18:31 advantage in time of possession. Quarterback
Hudsen Grovom accounted for three touchdowns—two rushing and one passing—while
Jace Friesz added 103 passing yards in relief.
Adrien Calderon paced the receiving corps with 52 yards, and
Jackson Simonson rushed for 64 yards on 18 carries. Defensively,
Dylan Dahlgren posted six tackles and a sack,
Jack Hartman recorded an interception, and
Ty Nelson forced a fumble. Mayville State (3-2) enters divisional play after a narrow loss last week and looks to snap a one-game skid.

Trend: Dropped out of Top 25 after 41–21 loss at #9 Montana Western
Dickinson State slipped out of the Top 25 this week but remains in the national spotlight, receiving 62 points to sit second among "receiving votes" teams. The Blue Hawks had been ranked No. 20 a week ago. The Frontier Conference continues to be strongly represented with five programs in the poll: Montana Tech (#5), Montana Western (#8), Carroll (#17), and College of Idaho (#25), along with DSU (RV).

HEAD COACH — Pete Stanton (12th Season):
Coach Stanton is 97–31 overall at DSU, leading the program to 10 straight NSAA titles and 11 consecutive NAIA playoff appearances. A DSU Hall of Famer, Stanton emphasizes physicality, consistency, and a strong defensive identity. Under his leadership, DSU has earned back-to-back playoff wins in 2023 and 2024 and produced 22 NAIA All-Americans.
