SEASON CONTINUES:
Dickinson State returns home to host Montana State-Northern in a Frontier Conference East Division matchup Saturday afternoon. The Blue Hawks (2-6, 0-4 Frontier East) are looking to snap a six-game losing streak after falling 29–21 at Valley City State last weekend. DSU held a 21–20 lead late in the third quarter following
Marcus Sanders' second touchdown pass to tight end
Gage Gilbert, but the Vikings closed the game with nine unanswered points. Sanders finished 35-of-51 for 319 yards and two touchdowns, both to Gilbert, who caught 10 passes for 109 yards.
Ty Dassinger added a rushing touchdown in the second quarter, and
Semaj Clark hauled in six receptions for 63 yards. Defensively,
Dylan Dahlgren led the Blue Hawks with seven tackles and a sack, while
Nathaniel Jilek grabbed an interception early in the fourth quarter. Despite outgaining the Vikings 376–354 in total offense, DSU converted just 3-of-12 third downs and was held scoreless in the final quarter.Â

100 YEARS OF BLUE HAWK FOOTBALL:
Dickinson State University continues its celebration of a century of Blue Hawk Football during Homecoming weekend. Established in 1925, the program has built a proud legacy defined by toughness, tradition, and community — capturing 32 conference championships and over 500 all-time wins across 100 seasons. From Harry Wienbergen's first title in 1951 to the dynasties led by Hank Biesiot and
Pete Stanton, DSU's century-long story reflects generations of student-athletes and coaches who have shaped the Blue Hawk identity. Saturday's game marks another chapter in that historic journey as Dickinson State honors 100 years of pride, tradition, and brotherhood.
