SEASON CONTINUES:
Dickinson State hosts #5 Montana Tech in a Frontier Conference East Division matchup Saturday afternoon. The Blue Hawks (3-6, 1-4 Frontier East) are looking to finish the campaign on a high note after earning their first conference win of the season last weekend, defeating Montana State-Northern 37–20. DSU dominated the second half, outscoring the Lights 28–6 behind a balanced offensive attack and a strong defensive effort. Quarterback
Jace Friesz went 13-for-19 for 223 yards and three touchdowns, including scoring strikes to
Jackson Simonson,
Jackson Whicker, and
Ty Dassinger. The Blue Hawks rushed for 261 yards, led by Simonson's 62 yards and a 44-yard touchdown run by
Dawson Zuroff late in the fourth quarter. Defensively, DSU held MSUN to just 79 rushing yards and forced a safety in the first quarter.
Chase Selle paced the unit with five tackles and a sack, while the defense tallied seven tackles for loss overall. Dickinson State controlled the clock for more than 36 minutes and totaled 484 yards of offense on 7.0 yards per play.
100 YEARS OF BLUE HAWK FOOTBALL:
Dickinson State University continues its celebration of a century of Blue Hawk Football during Homecoming weekend. Established in 1925, the program has built a proud legacy defined by toughness, tradition, and community — capturing 32 conference championships and over 500 all-time wins across 100 seasons. From Harry Wienbergen's first title in 1951 to the dynasties led by Hank Biesiot and
Pete Stanton, DSU's century-long story reflects generations of student-athletes and coaches who have shaped the Blue Hawk identity. Saturday's game marks another chapter in that historic journey as Dickinson State honors 100 years of pride, tradition, and brotherhood.
