"Teams across the nation are getting stronger and more competitive every day," said head coach Cebe Schneider. "We are highly motivated to rise to the challenge and remain a strong contender. Of our 12 athletes on the floor, half have never competed at a college level, so our leaders and returners have done an excellent job of perpetuating a culture that combines excellence with teamwork. The chemistry of this group, and absolute grit, is reflected in the scores they are putting up, and their character and work ethic make them a joy to coach. We have plenty of work ahead of us and are eager to get to it. Hawks are up!"
Dickinson State will look to build on its strong showing when it returns to action at the American Midwest Conference Championships on March 7.
