Four Blue Hawks named NAIA Competitive Cheer All-Americans

Sagan Osborne – Dickinson State Sports and Marketing Information Director

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dickinson State made a strong statement on the national stage, with four Blue Hawk cheerleaders earning 2025 NAIA All-American honors following the Ninth-Annual Nfinity NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship.

Tia Madrigga and Xeia Schneider led the way, both earning First-Team All-American status. Teandra Schneider was selected to the Second Team, and Gust Kitzan was named to the Third Team, showcasing the depth and talent of the Blue Hawk program.

"Athletes are required to excel in stunting, running and standing tumbling, and jumps, performing at an elite level, to even be considered for All-American," said head coach Cebe Schneider. "For DSU Cheer to have four athletes selected is impressive. Their countless hours of dedication, hard work, and detailed attention to improving technique and execution on these skills resulted in the All-American designation. I am so proud of them and of their teammates who worked alongside them. Hawks are up!"

Selections are determined by judges at the national championship, with student-athletes evaluated on four required elements: toe tuck, triple jump combination, round-off back handspring full twisting layout, and stunts. Athletes are scored on a 1–5 scale based on technique and form.
