SEASON CONTINUES:
No. 13 Dickinson State heads on the road for the first time this season, visiting MSU–Northern in a non-divisional game. The Blue Hawks (1-0) opened their 2025 campaign with a 30–15 win over Valley City State.
Quarterback Marcus Sanders accounted for three touchdowns in the opener, while wide receiver Semaj Clark posted 116 yards and a score. Defensively, Jack Hartman led the charge with two interceptions, including a 31-yard pick-six, earning Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors.
The all-time series with MSU–Northern is tied 8–8, though the two programs have not met since 2015, when DSU claimed a 17–7 win at home.

HEAD COACH — Pete Stanton (12th Season):
Coach Stanton is 96–29 overall at DSU, leading the program to 10 straight NSAA titles and 11 consecutive NAIA playoff appearances. A DSU Hall of Famer, Stanton emphasizes physicality, consistency, and a strong defensive identity. Under his leadership, DSU has earned back-to-back playoff wins in 2023 and 2024 and produced 22 NAIA All-Americans.
