Edward Aranda Calixto enters his second season as a graduate assistant with the Dickinson State football program in 2026.

A native of Rosemead, California, Calixto began his collegiate playing career at Pasadena City College in 2021. He helped the Lancers capture a conference championship and bowl title while earning first-team all-conference and All-State honors.

Calixto transferred to Dickinson State in 2022 and spent three seasons on the Blue Hawk offensive line. Playing primarily at left guard, he helped Dickinson State capture its eighth, ninth and 10th consecutive North Star Athletic Association championships from 2022-24. Calixto earned all-conference honors during his senior season.

Following his playing career, Calixto joined the Dickinson State coaching staff as a graduate assistant. He earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in coaching from Dickinson State and is pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration and athletic leadership.
