MAYVILLE, N.D. - The Dickinson State volleyball team (3-17, 1-6 NSAA) fell in straight sets (25-14, 25-18, 25-23) to Mayville State University (9-12, 4-3 NSAA) in Mayville on Saturday.
Madi Wahl led the Blue Hawks with eight kills, while Brooklyn Wyllie, McKenzie Moser, and Mackenna Johnson added six kills each, but Dickinson State was unable to take a set from the Comets. Jenna Swope had a solid defensive game, tallying 19 digs in the loss. Katie Collum had seven kills and eight digs and Bailey Pearcy added 31 assists for the Blue Hawks.
Overall, the Comets outhit the Blue Hawks .186 to .058. MSU had twelve blocks to stifle the DSU offense, while the Blue Hawks had three.
