VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Dickinson State couldn't slow down a hot hitting Valley City State team as they fell, 3-0, on Tuesday evening.
It was a balanced effort offensively for the Blue Hawks, as McKenzie Moser (5 kills), Madi Wahl (4), Brooklyn Wyllie (4), Lexi Puev (3), and Abigail Suiter (3) all finished within two kills of each other. Bailey Pearcy had 17 assists and seven digs, but the Blue Hawks hit .000 as a team compared to the Vikings .376.
Usually the team that has the advantage at the net in terms of blocks, DSU struggled on Tuesday, being outblocked 9-3 by the hosts.
The Blue Hawks will take on Mayville State on Friday, October 13 before coming home next week for their final home games of the season.
