Hawks set for Capital City Classic in Bismarck

CAPITAL CITY CLASSIC
Dickinson State will head east to Bismarck to take on NCAA Division I North Dakota in the Capital City Classic on Tuesday before taking the weekend off and heading to Havre, Montana for a non-conference date with Montana State-Northern on Monday. Tuesday's contest will be an exhibition for the Blue Hawks, their second exhibition against NCAA competition this season. Monday will start a stretch of five straight games against Frontier Conference opponents for DSU, with two more coming later in December.

Notes: MSUN has won the last four meetings between the teams, but they have not met since the 2021-22 season. The last time the Blue Hawks beat the Lights was in Havre, 76-66, in 2018.

LAST TIME OUT
Dickinson State went 0-2 at the Taco Bell Shootout against a pair of ranked opponents in #25 Lewis-Clark State and #2 College of Idaho. DSU fell 81-79 to LCSC before dropping Saturday's contest, 90-61, to COI The Blue Hawks got a strong weekend from guard Trey Stevens who averaged 16.5 points on 57 percent shooting and turning the ball over just once over 50 minutes of play.
