BISMARCK, N.D. — Dickinson State dropped a Frontier Conference road matchup Thursday evening, falling 78-68 to Bismarck State at the BSC Armory.

The Blue Hawks (6-13, 4-11 Frontier) were paced by senior forward Brae Eneboe, who scored a team-high 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting while grabbing seven rebounds. Anhelica Shanrock added 11 points, five boards, and two assists, and Kaylin Garza chipped in nine points and four rebounds in the loss.

Dickinson State shot 38.8% from the field (26-of-67) and went 5-of-22 from three-point range (22.7%), while converting 11-of-14 at the free-throw line (78.6%). Despite winning the second and fourth quarters, the Blue Hawks were unable to overcome a fast Bismarck State start and a 25-point third quarter by the Mystics.

Bismarck State (7-12, 7-8 Frontier) led 28-20 after the first quarter, fueled by five first-quarter three-pointers. The Mystics shot 45.5% from long range in the opening period and held an eight-point edge at halftime, 45-39. Dickinson State briefly took a lead early in the second quarter but trailed the rest of the way.

Kennedy Stormer led BSC with a game-high 25 points, including 4-of-9 from three and a perfect 7-of-7 at the line. Ashley Martodam added 18 points and 12 rebounds. The Mystics finished with 15 made three-pointers on 45 attempts and held a 45-40 rebounding advantage.

J'Ell Garfield scored five points and dished out three assists for Dickinson State, while Karson Tempel added eight points off the bench. The Blue Hawks' reserves combined for 21 points, but DSU was outscored 13-4 in second chance points and committed 14 turnovers to BSC's 11.

After being outscored 25-17 in the third quarter, DSU cut into the deficit in the final frame, holding BSC to just eight points in the fourth. However, the early damage was too much to overcome.
