DICKINSON, N.D. – Six Dickinson State University softball players were named to the 2026 Frontier Conference Softball All-Tournament Team, the conference announced Tuesday following the four-day postseason tournament held April 30-May 3 at Bravera Field at the Sanford Sports Complex.
Representing the Blue Hawks on the all-tournament team were junior pitcher Reannan Butler, sophomore outfielder Allyson Farrington, senior infielder Kiley Hubby, sophomore pitcher Ava Jahner, senior catcher Brooke Lijewski, and junior utility player Stocktyn Stevenson.
The six honorees helped lead Dickinson State to a perfect 4-0 tournament record and the Frontier Conference tournament championship. The Blue Hawks opened with a 10-2 win over Dakota State, followed with a 10-6 victory over Bismarck State, edged Providence, 8-7, and defeated Bellevue, 5-4, in the championship game on May 3. As a team, Dickinson State hit .406 during the tournament with 33 runs, 41 hits, nine doubles, two triples, four home runs, and 28 RBIs.
Stevenson led the Blue Hawks at the plate, hitting .583 over four games with seven hits, six runs scored, two RBIs, two walks, and a .667 on-base percentage. Farrington also posted a standout tournament, batting .556 with five hits, five runs, three doubles, three RBIs, two walks, and a .667 on-base percentage.
Hubby finished with a .500 batting average, collecting seven hits, three doubles, one home run, four RBIs, and four runs scored while slugging .929. Lijewski added power in the middle of the lineup, hitting two home runs with six RBIs, five hits, a double, and a .857 slugging percentage.
In the circle, Butler earned a win in her lone tournament appearance, throwing 7.0 innings and allowing just two earned runs on six hits with one walk for a 2.00 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. Jahner also picked up a win, working 8.0 innings across two appearances with one complete game, four earned runs allowed, two strikeouts, and a 3.50 ERA.
Dickinson State went undefeated throughout the tournament, posting a 4-0 record and capturing the Frontier Conference tournament championship with a victory over Bellevue (Neb.) in the title game on May 3. The Blue Hawks continued their dominant postseason run and extended their winning streak to 24 games.
The tournament championship sends Dickinson State into the NAIA Softball National Tournament Opening Round, where the Blue Hawks will represent the Frontier Conference beginning Monday.
