Blue Hawks wrap up non-conference play in Valley City

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Dickinson State dropped a pair of matches against Montana Western and Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday to wrap up non-conference play in Valley City.

The Blue Hawks struggled to get an attack going on the day, being held under .100 hitting as a team in both matches. McKenzie Moser had 20 kills over the two games, including 13 against Dakota Wesleyan, but strong defense from both opponents made any Blue Hawk runs hard to come by.

With non-conference play finished, the Blue Hawks will have their NSAA and home opener on the same night when they host Valley City State on Wednesday, September 13 in Scott Gym.
