PLAYING FOR A CAUSE
Thursday is "Pink Out" Night at Scott Gymnasium as Dickinson State partners with the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Center to raise awareness for breast cancer research and support. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in solidarity.
In addition, Thursday is Youth Day, presented by DSU's Girls4Sports Chapter. All children 12 and under will receive free admission to the match. The event aims to inspire and engage the next generation of female athletes through positive role models and community involvement.
Come out and support the Blue Hawks while celebrating two impactful causes.

Middle blockerÂ
Samantha Oase (Reeder, N.D.) has been a key contributor at the net in her lone season with Blue Hawk volleyball. She enters the weekend with 110 kills and 73.5 total blocks, second-most on the team.
Defensive specialistÂ
Taylor Fischer (Gillette, Wyo.) has appeared in 157 career sets over two seasons. She's compiled 367 digs (2.34 per set), 27 service aces, and has been a steady defensive anchor for DSU throughout her career.
Pin hitterÂ
Makyah Albrecht (Bozeman, Mont.) has played in 189 sets over three seasons, totaling 320 kills, 86.0 total blocks, and 373.5 career points. This season, she's averaging 2.06 kills per set.
Senior Day ceremonies will take place before first serve. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and help celebrate the careers of these three standout student-athletes.

LAST TIME OUT
Dickinson State dropped a pair of Frontier Conference matches on the road last weekend, falling to No. 2 Providence and Montana State-Northern.
The Blue Hawks became the first team this season to take a set off Providence at home, winning the second frame 25-18 before the Argos responded to take the match in four sets.
Carmen Pallone led DSU with 13 kills on .345 hitting, while
Rylee Kogolshak tallied 30 assists and 17 digs.
DSU followed with a 3-1 loss to MSU-Northern.
Aubrey Allison paced the offense with 13 kills and 12 digs, and Pallone added 10 kills and six blocks. Kogolshak posted 39 assists, and
Geraldyne Fernandez collected 32 digs as the Blue Hawks totaled 96 as a team.

HEAD COACH – STORMY SIEMION:
Stormy Siemion enters her second season as head volleyball coach at Dickinson State after being named to the position ahead of the 2024 campaign. In her first year, she guided two players to all-conference honors, including
Rylee Kogolshak (First Team All-NSAA, AVCA All-Region HM) and
McKenzie Moser (Second Team All-NSAA).
Before joining DSU, Siemion built a strong résumé in Montana high school volleyball, leading Skyview High School to two state tournament appearances and a fourth-place state finish in 2023. She also served as an assistant at Lockwood High School and Hardin High School.
A Huntley, Mont., native, Siemion won four consecutive Montana state titles at Huntley Project High School, setting state records for kills in a season and career. She played collegiately at NCAA Division II Montana State University–Billings (2013–18), earning team MVP honors and All-GNAC honorable mention in 2016. Her championship pedigree, player development expertise, and competitive drive continue to shape the direction of the Blue Hawk program.
