Geraldyne Fernandez led the defense with 15 digs. Abigail Beddes and Ashtynn Egan added eight digs each as Dickinson State out-dug Montana Tech, 55-38.

Despite the advantage in digs and five service aces, the Blue Hawks were out-hit .308 to .242 and committed 22 attack errors to the Orediggers' 13. Montana Tech improved to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play.

Despite the loss head coach Stormy Siemion was pleased with the progress her team is making. "It was a challenging weekend away but we ended on a high note," she said. "Coming off a tough loss Friday night, I was anxious to see how the girls responded. They showed up and competed against Tech and fought to the end. I am excited to build off of this momentum."
