DICKINSON, N.D. – The Dickinson State University cheer team closes out its regular season Sunday, March 1, with a pair of road competitions against St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. The Blue Hawks are scheduled to compete at 11:20 a.m. (MT) and 2:00 p.m. (MT).
The Blue Hawks enter the competition riding momentum after posting their highest team score to date in the 2026 season in their most recent outing vs. Carroll College.
Last Time Out
The Blue Hawks secured a victory at Scott Gymnasium over Carroll College with a season-best score of 94.37, delivering one of their most complete performances to date.
The Blue Hawks set the tone early in the building portion, earning a 38.1 compared to Carroll's 26.2. The Blue Hawks continued to create separation in the tumbling portion, posting a 29.0–24.7 advantage.
In the overall master category, the Blue Hawks edged the Fighting Saints with a score of 19.5 compared to a 19.0 for the Fighting Saints, before finishing strong in average overall effect, scoring a 9.77 to Carroll's 9.3.

The Blue Hawks aim to close out the regular season on a high note Sunday before turning their focus to postseason competition with the American Midwest Conference Championships on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7 in Columbia, Missouri.
