Blue Hawks Set for NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships

DICKINSON, N.D. — Dickinson State will send 14 athletes to compete at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships, including a women's 4x800-meter relay team, from March 5-7 at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center in Gainesville, Florida.

Competition begins Thursday for the Blue Hawks with the relay in the preliminary round at 12:45 p.m. MT. Later that day, Faith Sullivan-Brennan will compete in the women's triple jump finals at 2:30 p.m., followed by Ty Leischner in the men's high jump finals at 3 p.m.

Sullivan-Brennan will return to competition Friday in the women's long jump finals at 10 a.m. Dickinson State will also have two competitors in the women's weight throw finals at the same time, with Rebecca Eacker and Kori Nagel representing the Blue Hawks.

Mia Handran will compete in the women's 800-meter preliminary round at 1:15 p.m.

In the men's field events Friday, Dylan Dahlgren will compete in the men's weight throw finals.

Saturday's events begin at 9:30 a.m. with Adarra Hagelund competing in the women's high jump finals. Dickinson State will also have three athletes in the women's shot put finals as Alician Parks, Codi Nagle and Nagel compete.

Adrien Calderon and Leischner will represent Dickinson State in the men's pole vault finals at 11:15 a.m. Dahlgren will also compete in the men's shot put finals.

The meet concludes for Dickinson State with Caleb Sarsland competing in the men's 3,000-meter final at 1:15 p.m.

Live results for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be available throughout the meet.
