SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to weather in the Dickinson area, the Blue Hawks will head to La Crosse, Wisconsin to play their second NSAA series of the season …  due to the series being scheduled for Dickinson, DSU will be the designated home team in all four games … last season the series between the teams was switched from La Crosse to Dickinson due to weather as well … the Blue Hawks are coming off their Arizona spring trip that ended with a 3-1 series win over Valley City State to kick off North Star play … despite the strong start, DSU currently sits in fourth place in the NSAA standings due to Bellevue, Dakota State, and Mayville State all sweeping their opening series … the Blue Hawks have been on a roll offensively to start the year, batting .319 as a team with a .915 OPS … DSU has thrived with traffic on the bases, stealing 38 bases already after stealing 39 all of last season, the Blue Hawks are also hitting .341 with runners in scoring position, making those steals even more valuable

Notes: DSU has won six straight in the series, including all five games last season … the Blue Hawks swept Viterbo in their regular season series and then defeated Viterbo in the second round of the NSAA Conference Tournament last May … on the season, the Blue Hawks outscored the V-Hawks 44-4, including three shutouts … this will be the first time the Blue Hawks have played in La Crosse since the 2017-2018 season
