DICKINSON, N.D. — Four Dickinson State volleyball players have been named to the 2025 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators.
Rylee Kogolshak, Carmen Pallone, Aubrey Allison and Samantha Oase received the honor, which recognizes student-athletes in the NAIA for their combined achievements in the classroom and in competition. To be eligible, nominees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and must have competed in at least 90 percent of their team's contests during the season.
Kogolshak, a junior setter from Hardin, Montana, is majoring in exercise science and holds a 3.63 GPA. She appeared in all 106 sets for the Blue Hawks, leading the team with 105 assists and averaging 9.92 assists per set. She also recorded 99 kills, 26 service aces and 312 digs. A College Sports Communicators committee reviews the nominations for Academic All-District student-athletes to determine which will be moved onto the Academic All-America ballot. Kogolshak will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America, with selections to be announced Jan. 13.
Pallone, a sophomore middle blocker and pin hitter, is also from Hardin. She is majoring in business administration and has a 3.74 GPA. She tallied 235 kills and 109 total blocks while hitting .267 for the season.
Allison, a junior pin hitter from Shepherd, Montana, is majoring in exercise science and carries a 3.73 GPA. She led Dickinson State with 328 kills and averaged 3.18 kills per set. She also contributed 346 digs and 21 aces over 103 sets played.
Oase, a senior middle blocker from Reeder, North Dakota, is an elementary education major with a 3.98 GPA. She totaled 130 kills and led the team with 87.5 total blocks, including 22 solo blocks, in her final season.
"Having Rylee, Carmen, Aubrey and Sam a part of the Academic All-District team is not only a testament to their dedication to this team, but their drive to be the best in the classroom," Dickinson State head coach Stormy Siemion said. "We are very proud of them being leaders who lead by example."
The CSC Academic All-District program honors student-athletes across four divisions — NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA. The NAIA Academic All-America program is partially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
