DICKINSON, N.D. — Dickinson State junior setter Rylee Kogolshak has been named to the 2025 AVCA NAIA North Region First Team, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). She becomes the first Blue Hawk to receive First Team All-Region honors under head coach Stormy Siemion.
The AVCA selects 14 student-athletes from each of the nine NAIA regions based on performance, leadership, and impact throughout the season. Kogolshak earned her spot among the top players in the North Region, which includes competitive programs from across the Midwest and Northwest.
"Watching Rylee grow into a First Team All-Region athlete has been incredibly rewarding," said Siemion. "She has committed herself fully to the process, trusted the work, and this honor is a true reflection of that."
Kogolshak was the floor general for the Blue Hawks in 2025, appearing in all 106 sets and directing the offense with 1051 assists—averaging 9.88 assists per set. She added 99 kills, 312 digs (2.94 digs/set), and 65.5 total blocks (0.62 blocks/set), providing consistency and leadership on both sides of the ball.
Her contributions anchored a Dickinson State squad that competed in the always-challenging Frontier Conference, finishing with a 13-14 overall record. Kogolshak's ability to elevate play in high-pressure moments helped lead the Blue Hawks to several key wins, including a 7-4 mark at Scott Gymnasium.
