DICKINSON, N.D. — Dickinson State junior setter Rylee Kogolshak has been named an NAIA All-America Honorable Mention by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the organization announced this week.
Selected by the AVCA NAIA Volleyball All-America Selection Committee, the 2025 class includes 42 student-athletes on the first, second, and third teams, along with 55 honorable mention honorees. Kogolshak's inclusion marks a prestigious recognition for both her standout individual season and her leadership on the court.
"This honor for Rylee is so incredibly deserving," said Blue Hawk head coach Stormy Siemion. "I've had the privilege of watching and helping Rylee evolve into one of the best setters in the NAIA. Her consistency and ability to stay level-headed has not only brought her success, but helped lead her team to success. Rylee is such a selfless player who always wants to put her team in the best situations possible. I am so incredibly proud of her."
Kogolshak, a native of Hardin, Montana, and product of Billings Senior High School, was a force at the helm of the Blue Hawk offense all season. She appeared in all 106 sets and tallied 1,051 assists, averaging 9.92 assists per set, ranking among the top setters in the Frontier Conference and NAIA.
In addition to her setting prowess, Kogolshak added 99 kills, 26 service aces, 312 digs (2.94/set), and 65 total blocks (0.62/set), showcasing her all-around ability and versatility as a leader on both sides of the ball.
This is the first All-America recognition of Kogolshak's collegiate career.
Kogolshak helped guide the Blue Hawks to a 13-14 overall record and 9-13 mark in Frontier play, including key wins over five teams appearing in the national polls, highlighted by the Blue Hawks upset of then No. 3 Bellevue.
