KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Dickinson State placed four student-athletes among the nation's best as the NAIA announced its 2026 Competitive Cheer All-America teams following the 10th-annual Nfinity NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship.
Senior standouts Xeia Schneider and Tia Madrigga earned First Team All-America honors, while Jack Jelinek and Gustav Kitzan were named to the Second Team, giving the Blue Hawks representation across two of the three All-America squads.
All-America selections are determined by the NAIA Cheer All-America Committee, which evaluates student-athletes based on performance scores throughout the season. A total of 18 athletes are recognized on each team, with ties extending the list when applicable.
"We have a great deal of talent on our team and it is exciting to have four of our players recognized in the top tier of athletes across the nation," head coach Cebe Schneider said. "All American represents those who are able to compete the most elite skills at the highest proficiency, and this award is a reflection of their ability and skill, and also of their execution. It takes a great deal of determination and hours of hard work to be able to perform these skills, much less to be one of the few who execute them at the top.
"Something special is that one of the elements they are evaluated on is stunting, which is a group category. So while we have four who were awarded, this is a team win. We are all proud of Xeia, Tia, Gust and Jack for this achievement. As always, Hawks are up!"
