HELENA, Mont. — Senior Brooklyn Materi recorded her fifth top-10 finish in as many tournaments to lead the Dickinson State women, while sophomore Eric DeBoer finished just 1-over across 54 holes to pace the Blue Hawk men as Dickinson State closed its fall schedule Tuesday at the Carroll College Classic at Bill Roberts Golf Course.
The Blue Hawk women finished fourth at 64-over after rounds of 22-over and 42-over. Dickinson State placed two golfers inside the top 10 and three inside the top 20, led by Materi's tie for eighth at 156 (+12).
Materi opened with a 4-over 76 Monday and closed with an 80 Tuesday. She finished one stroke ahead of Kiaralynn Weidinger, who joined Materi in the top 10 with a 157 (+13) to tie for 10th.

Dickinson State put three golfers at 4-over or better in Monday's opening round as Materi, Weidinger and Cheyenne Jacobs each carded a 76. Jacobs went on to tie for 19th at 161 (+17), giving the Blue Hawks three finishers inside the top 20.
Camille Poncin placed 24th at 166 (+22), while Addie Robbins tied for 27th at 171 (+27).
Materi's finish capped a consistent fall in which she led Dickinson State individually in all five tournaments. She finished fourth at the NDGA College Meet, second at the Dickinson State Fall Invitational, ninth at the first Frontier Conference Meet, second at the Beartooth Invitational and tied for eighth in Helena. Materi finished the fall with five top-10 performances in five events, while the Blue Hawk women captured team titles at the NDGA College Meet and Dickinson State Fall Invitational.
DeBoer led the Dickinson State men in Helena, tying for 14th at 217 (+1). He played two of his three rounds at par or better, opening with a 1-under 71 before adding a 74 and an even-par 72.

Sam Lewton finished two strokes behind DeBoer in 16th at 219 (+3). Lewton played his opening 36 holes in 1-under, following an even-par 72 with a 1-under 71 before closing with a 76 Tuesday. Between them, DeBoer and Lewton produced two under-par rounds and three rounds at par or better.
Jayce Johnson tied for 29th at 228 (+12) after rounds of 75, 76 and 77. Griffin Zimmer and Torrin Ellis tied for 33rd at 233 (+17). Ellis saved his best round for Tuesday, closing with a 1-over 73 after an 81 in Round 2.
The Blue Hawk men finished sixth at 28-over, posting team rounds of 6-over, 12-over and 10-over. Bellevue won the team competition at 36-under.
The Carroll College Classic completed Dickinson State's five-tournament fall schedule. The Blue Hawk women finished the fall with two tournament victories, while the men's best team finish came with a runner-up showing at the Dickinson State Fall Invitational.
